MatriceLab advances clinical practice of reproductive medicine by enabling identification of biomarkers of endometrial immune dysregulation.
This immune dysregulation of the endometrium influences the success of in-vitro fertilization (IVF) and affects 4 out of 5 women undergoing Assisted Reproductive Treatment (ART)!*
Immune dysregulation of the endometrium contributes to implantation failure and low IVF success rates.
Personalized immunomodulatory therapy enabled by Endometrial Immune profiling has shown to increase life birth rates significantly in patients receiving reproductive measures – independent of their history and the stage in their individual IVF journey.
80% of patients have endometrial immune dysregulation*.
Several studies have shown that 4 out of 5 women undergoing IVF present with one of the three phenotypes of endometrial immune dysregulation. For example, in the case of over-activation, the immune response is excessive and the environment too aggressive for the embryo to implant sustainably.
The embryo is then recognized as foreign and rejected by over-activated immune cells, and destroyed.
Thanks to Endometrial Immune Profiling, reproductive physicians can implement personalized treatments to optimize the success of the next embryo implantation procedure.
Understanding the endometrium to increase implantation success
The UTIMPRO test (PCT/EP2013/065355) is a medical device manufactured by MatriceLab on the basis of 20 years of research, and is patented and validated for the assessment of endometrial-specific immune dysregulation.
Using real-time PCR, UTIMPRO identifies specific biomarkers from an endometrial biopsy obtained during a short in-office procedure.
These biomarkers enable MatriceLab to provide reproductive physicians with the patient’s individual endometrial immune profile.
Based on the results of the UTIMPRO test, the reproductive physician can set up a personalized treatment aimed at balancing the immune dysfunction and optimizing the results of the next embryo implantation.

How do I perform the UTIMPRO test?
Order the UTIMPRO test kit from MatriceLab and schedule an appointment with your patient for an endometrial biopsy.
Perform the endometrial biopsy per instructions provided and send the sample to MatriceLab.
Receive test results and personalized care recommendations for your patient.
Adapt your protocols to take these recommendations into account.
Continue your IVF protocols as usual after the personalized treatment has been implemented.
To monitor the efficacy of personalized treatment, a follow-up test should be conducted before the next IVF cycle.
